Description
Combining pastel pink and Halloween, two of my favorite things into one painting. This cute little pastel baby bat.
She has cute black button eyes, and a cute pink button nose that I was dying to use for something. I painted her using acrylic and then the background is all black and white spooky paper to contrast the pink. I didn't want this to be a kitschy Halloween piece, but something that felt more sophisticated (would probably help if I didn't draw animals to be so cartoony).
Framed in a gold gilded, frame with glass. 2017. Signed, dated and titled on the back. The duct tape looks ridiculous but it's securely held the painting in the frame whilst the frame has been hung up for 2 years.
