Description
Originally a painting I did in 2014, I revamped it in 2022. I always liked the image but over the years something about its execution just didn't sit right with me and I wasn't feeling it anymore.
I initially wanted to capture the idea that Little Red Riding Hood is going into the woods alone, enveloped by trees, knowing the wolf would be awaiting her deep in the woods. So in 2022 I painted it over in white, leaving Little Red alone, re-did the illusion of being surrounded by trees, and added a quote from Politically Correct Fairytales. It works so much better now.
