Description
I haven’t yet decided if this will be a series because I may do another umbrella painting with a reversed color scheme.
But ultimately I was inspired to paint this after binge-watching Umbrella Academy and the NEED to paint this became imminent because 1) I terribly miss painting. I’m always worried I’ll never get back into it. 2) I haven’t done my paper paintings in a while and I was burned out by them but I’m so happy to be getting back to something I love and 3) it’s been doomy gloomy lately. The weather + the ongoing crisis the world is racing and creating art and trying to find the light within the dark even when there is dark all around felt significant. ☂️
